Dana
Trousil finishes her paintings with Dorland's Wax Medium; this non-yellowing
wax and resin mixture, made with pure beeswax, strengthens oil paint film
against shrinkage and cracking while sealing out dirt, air, and moisture.
This is perhaps the most authentic final treatment for fine arts, making
oil paintings more brilliant and translucent. It is buffed to a satin gloss
finish.
